FC Adelaide has opened new potato storage.
In the village. Chulakovka in the Kherson region the Adelaide enterprise opened potato storage with an area of 7 thousand m2 for 15 thousand tons of potatoes.
The room is designed for 8-floor storage chambers and assembled from prefabricated insulated reinforced concrete structures manufactured at the plant in Svetlovodsk, Kirovograd region. The structures were delivered by river transport.
The head of the Adelaide enterprise, Sergei Rybalko, said that the farm had resumed and rebuilt irrigation systems, replacing them with circular ones. In addition, it switched to the later cultivation of potatoes.
"We are moving to late planting when potatoes are planted in June and harvested in October," said Sergei Rybalko. - It allows receiving a crop of more than 40 t / hectare. Therefore, to store such a crop requires modern storage, which will allow you to store all these potatoes.
Over the next two years, the farm plans to build the second phase of potato storage for 15 thousand. And in 2023-2024 - a plant for processing potatoes into fries and cereals.
